| This
is one of the most unique Weather Report shows I have
heard. Many of the performances are unlike those
elsewhere. Songs may be in incorrect order. |
| 1.
Scarlet Woman (Johnson-Shorter-Zawinul)
8:51 |
| 2. Teen Town (Pastorius)
5:04 |
| 3.
Portrait of Tracy (Pastorius)
6:47 In the middle of Jaco's solo someone calls for
Donna Lee, which they play later for the one and only
time, to my knowledge. |
| 4.
Rhumba Mama (Badrena) 3:37 |
| 5.
Directions (Zawinul) 5:16 |
| 6.
Barbary Coast (Pastorius)
Directions Reprise (Zawinul)
6:15 This is not the Barbary Coast they played on
other dates on this tour. It sounds more like a jam,
much slowed down, and with the Barbary Coast bass figure
the only recognizable part of the tune. The
song concludes with the ending from Directions, the
previous song. |
| 7.
Sophisticated Lady (piano solo)
(Ellington-Mills-Parish) 3:58 |
| 8.
Palladium (Shorter) 5:00 |
| 9.
Harlequin (Shorter) 5:29 |
| 10.
Birdland (Zawinul) 7:14 |
| 11.
Band Intros :35 |
| 12.
Sax Solo (Shorter) 2:58 |
| 13.
Donna Lee - Jam (Parker)
6:55 Wayne introduces this as a song by a man who
"was born here, Charlie Yardbird Parker".
Jaco launches into a breakneck version, accompanied only
by percussion. After 2 1/2 minutes the keyboard
enters as though they are going to play Badia, but the
rest have no part of it and keep on jamming.
Eventually Joe gives up, and the whole thing morphs into
Its About That Time. |
| 14.
Its About That Time (Davis)
