John McLaughlin,
Billy Cobham, and Alphonso Johnson perform with the band
during the show. The jam with the extra players all
occurred during the last number, Gibraltar. It started
with Cobham taking snapshots of Weather Report from the
side of the stage. He was beckoned by Acuna to take over
the drumming (Acuna continued on percussion) and then Alphonso
Johnson joined, and finally McLaughlin, playing John
Scofield's electric + amp (Scofield + Johnson had played
earlier in the Cobham/Duke band). McLaughlin was there
because Shakti had also played earlier.
